23rd December - (Saturday) - I know I know.... i haven't updated in a while... in the past month I've been mostly working and also preparing for Christmas doing shopping and stuff. Nothing new really... 2 days till Christmas... drinks, big lunches and bigger dinners... Oh we've actually been at "Carols in the Domain" in sydney the other week. tens of thousands of people pic-nic-ing in a huge park with the christmas spirit taking over. Next time I post it will be 2007 and I will try to put up some photos from all the seasonal activities. So:

20th November - (Monday) - After so much hard work, maltaproducts.com is now live and taking orders. Don't forget to register to the newsletter and you will be eligible to win some nice prizes.
20th November - (Monday) - Last Wednesday I went to watch the Pink Floyd Experience at the Paramatta River Side Theatre. It was very spectacular with excellent lighting and props on stage. The performance was near perfect to the real thing, they barely missed half a note. I added a couple of photos from that event to this collection.
14th November - (Wednesday) - Last Friday 70,000 people and I packed the Telstra Stadium to watch U2 live in concert. It was huge. The atmosphere was out of this world. Amazing! Here are some photos from the U2 concert and also one from the Live concert the other month.
1st November - (Wednesday) - Today we launched a website that promotes Made in Malta Products. We already have 100 different maltese products ready to ship around the world. Today was a soft launch. We will start taking orders on the 20th of November. Please feel free to visit and give us feedback.
30th October - (Monday) - Last Saturday Sylvia and I went for a 2hr trapezing lesson. I never thought I could do that, but I did. And Sylvia was so happy she did it too. It was so much fun. 25th October - (Wednesday) - The times of malta yesterday were running an online poll. "Which party would you vote for were an election to be held tomorrow?". There is not much choice! have a look at this screen shot; and this one with the results.
23th October - (Monday) - Last friday I went to the Live concert at the Sydney Entertainment Centre. They are called "Live" for a good reason. Great performance on stage. The only thing is that they reached a climax too early, while the second half of the concert, although still great, was a bit draggy.They played for over 2hrs. On Saturday I went to Randwick Races as part of a Buck's day out. It was my first time at the races. A very particular atmosphere. And yesterday we went to the airshow in Richmond. It was quite a large scale show. Sylvia will put up some photos on her website.
15th October - (Saturday) - Last monday i turned 25. As a present, my car broke down on the way to the train station. At night Sylvia took me out for dinner at a Greek restaurant in Parramatta. I had never been to a greek restaurant before. It was really nice: Souvlaki, Tsatsiki, and other greek dips. The previous day, on sunday, we went to watch joe demicoli at wenty leagues club. Then my uncle's family surprised me at sylvia's place with a cake and nice presents. Yesterday we had a bbq at sylvia's place. Here are some photos from my 25th birthday.
7th October - (Saturday) - Last weekend was a long one here in NSW. Sylvia and I spent it in the Hunter Valley, a beautiful area a couple of hours away from sydney. Plenty of wineries and other fresh food places. Here are some photos.
21st September - (Thursday) - I know i know, i haven't updated in over a month... sorry... not much has been going on here... very busy with work... HOWEVER one funny thing i came across today made me post... it's Independence Day in Malta today... and the sultan of Oman sent a greeting to the matese president, Dr Eddie Fank.. click here for more!
15th August 2006 - (Tuesday) - Long time no ketchup... My parents left Australia a week ago. They made the most of it, they visited heaps of places including canberra, port stephens and the blue mountains. Sylvia has put up some photos of when we went to port stephens. They also attended my cousin's baby Makayla's christening. Since then i've been busy with work and catching up with some sleep.
23th July 2006 - (Sunday) - Yesterday was wedding day for my cousin Susan and Daniel. It was a beautiful wedding! Here is one photo from last night. There are already more photos put up on their wedding website.
20th July 2006 - (Thursday) - My parents arrived in Sydney on Tuesday morning. Very happy to see them! Unfortunately I can't afford to take much leave from work. But i can spend evenings and weekends with them. I will surely be posting photos from their stay here. My cousin's wedding is on this Saturday, check out their wedding website.
9th July 2006 - Campioni del Mondo! Campioni del Mondo! Campioni del Mondo! Campioni del Mondo!!!! Italy were the best and most consistent team through out the tournament. They deserved to win. What a beautiful day!! Have a look at the celebratory cake that sylvia prepared for me!

5th July 2006 - (Wednesday) - Germania 0 - 2 Italia -> Totti: "I tedeschi parlavano della pizza italiana? E' il mio piatto preferito. Domani andremo tutti a mangiarla."
28th June 2006 - (Wednesday) - Yesterday was a full day! I started very early in the morning with soccer... Australia vs Italia! that was a hard one for me... Australia is my host country and I was there when they qualified against Uruguay. However, I have forever been a passionate Italian supporter. I am sorry for Australia. Italy just deserved to win. The penalty awarded at the end was as dubious as the red card shown to the Italian player, that changed the course of the game for Italy. Well done to the socceroos...
And then last night, finally, the Coldplay concert!!!!! At the sydney Entertainment Centre.... what a show!!! what a great performance!!!! real music for my ears!!! I will try to post some short videos taken with a mobile phone.
14th June 2006 - Last weekend, for the long queen's birthday weekend, Sylvia and I spent a couple of nights in Bilpin at the Blue Mountains. Here are some photos on Sylvia's website.

2nd May 2006 - Last Saturday I went to watch Nickelback live at the Sydney Superdome. Great concert complete with fireworks. The band rocked on stage. Here is a small bad quality video clip from how you remind me taken with someone's mobile phone. Also, visit my music section.

6th April 2006 - (Thursday) - Time for a quick update: After training bi-weekly for the past month, last Saturday I had the first official soccer game of the season. I'm playing for Toongabbie in the Granville soccer League division 4. We lost, but I still enjoyed it.
Also, Monday was my first day at work. The people are nice. The environment is good. There's a lot to learn but I am quite happy with my learning curve so far. I hope my boss is too. I'm getting used to spending some 2.5hrs a day on a train.

25th March 2006 - We were supposed to spend a day abseiling at the blue mountains today. But when we got there, it was all foggy and rainy so it got cancelled. At least we went for a 45 minute walk.. photos here.
21st March 2006 - Last Sunday morning I went to the St. Patrick's parade in the city (photos). At night I went to Yellowcard's concert, at the Luna Park in Sydney.
15th March 2006 - Last Saturday I attended the wedding of my friends Amanda and Chris. You can see a few photos on Sylvia's Website. Today i cooked pizzas from scratch, for the first time. The dough is the hard part. There are some pictures on sylvia's website.
1st March 2006 - The other day I uploaded the emails and photos that i have been sending to family and friends since i came to Australia, entitles Postcards from Oz. I will stop sending such emails because everything will be directly posted here. I have also added pages about Music, Sports and Family.
25th Feb 2006 - A few days ago I was offered a job with Ericsson as a Junior Content Systems Developer. That was great news for me. However I will only be starting some time in April. Since the australian student visa is expiring at the end of February, they had to quickly sort that out for me, which was a bit of a hassle and stress. Finally yesterday, my application for a new working visa was lodged. Once that gets approved, I can legally stay and work in Australia for 4 years.
17th Feb 2006 - I now have my own domain name, www.patrickellul.com. The website has a new style too. I hope you enjoy it. I still need to add a few decorative stuff here and there.
8th Feb 2006 - It has been a year since I landed in Sydney. Time flew, but at the same time I have done so much stuff that it feels like I have been here for longer.
