About Me

My name is Patrick Ellul. I was born in 1981 in Malta to my parents Albert and Connie. I am younger than my brother Stephen who is younger than my sister, Johanna (more about my family). I lived in the town of Zurrieq in the south of the main island until February 2005 when I moved to the western suburbs of Sydney, Australia.

I attended primary school in Zurrieq and then Savio College High School in Dingli. Then I went on to sixth form (pre-uni) at the Junior College in Msida where I studied primarily Maths and Physics and secondarily Italian, Philosophy and Computing, for two years.

Then I read a 4 year bachelor with honours degree in Information Technology focusing on Computer Science, at the University of Malta. Finished that in 2003, I worked for almost 2 years and in February 2005 I came to Australia to read a one year Masters degree in Information Technology specialising in web engineering and design, at the University of  Western Sydney. I completed the degree in December 2005.

I live in St. Clair. The good life in Australia and my fiancee Sylvia are the reasons why I would like to live here for good. I now work full time for a telco company developing web applications for mobile phones.

I could say about myself that I am a qualified I.T. professional and an unqualified amateur philosopher. I like different sports mostly soccer. I also like photography, good music and fishing.

I developed FreeDynamicWebsites to have the opportunity to easily create and maintain personal websites, including this one for myself. I will try to keep this website updated with news and photos from whatever is going on with my life. I hope you find something interesting here and please leave a message on the guestbook. You may also contact me from here.

Spen One Million Dollars : I am currently working on my own small project on the side. The idea is to give anyone the opportunity to decide how to spend one real million dollars, and while learning about the behaviour of people towards each other, technology and money, become part of the internet history. Click here to find out more. I also keep a blog with updates about the Spend One Million Dollars project.
